Autumn 2022 – It’s been a very busy summer!
We won another award! The President’s Award at the SPACES awards – 2022
for the Arts Xchange, Islington
CityAxis are immensely proud that our “Family Kitchen and Shop” project at The Royal Botanic Gardens in Kew has been shortlisted for numerous awards since opening at the end of 2021:
The Family Kitchen and Shop promotes an engaging learning experience for families crafted around Kew's core vision of "Why Plants Matter", an educational entertainment and a place where families and children can learn about their food in a fun way - which is so important when Climate Change is having such a dramatic effect on food we eat. Our project has been shortlisted for this year's Restaurant and Bar Design Awards - the most important and influential design competition for the food and beverage spaces worldwide. In its 14th year, it recognises and celebrates the world's most creative spaces and the people behind them:
1. Best Restaurant in Europe "In Another Space" – 2022 Restaurant and Bar Design Awards is the most important and influential design competition for the food and beverage spaces worldwide and recognises the word’s most creative spaces and the people behind them – quite a deal!

2. Best Restaurant Globally under the "Colour" Category
(10 projects shortlisted)
The Awards ceremony will take place on 19th & 20th October 2022 in London with category winners announced on Instagram week commencing 5th September 2022.
3. The Construction News Project of the Year Awards 2022 (under £20M); CityAxis was shortlisted with 6 other companies and came close to winning!
